Multiplication Practice

The fastest way to ensure students build confidence and decrease anxiety with math is to be proficient in multiplication facts (and then become skilled and proficient with integer operations).

As a parent, how do you help your child KNOW their math facts? You provide the practice and the expectations for them to practice. Because the more students practice, the more they will learn the operations. Yes, students NEED to know their multiplication (and other operations) fact by heart.

It is not too late to memorize your multiplication facts. With just 15-20 minutes every day, students can be ready for advanced math classes when they know their multiplication facts. But, yes, students DO need to practice daily for them to be ready.

🎯 Multiplication chart - students shouldn't have to "think" too hard while they are practicing. This leads to emotional fatigue and feelings of desperation in students. It is more important for students to get the answers quickly to build confidence because they are answering more questions then not.

🎯 26 pages of 100 questions on each page. Practice one page everyday (with the use of the multiplication chart as long as it is needed). Do not skip around.

🎯 Each page has an answer key if needed. When students use their multiplication chart, they are likely to get the questions correct. 

🎯 BONUS: skip counting songs are included to help students that are just starting with multiplication (again) - and the "lyrics" are the multiplication chart. These songs are so catchy, you won't mind having them stuck in your head!
