Teaching your child high school math doesn't have to be overwhelming or stressful.

Ready Set Math was created for parents and learners who want algebra to feel clear, calm, and doable. If the thought of teaching high school math feels intimidating, or if your a student has struggled in the past, you are NOT alone.

Just as calculators are accepted tools to use in math, Ready Set Math is a learning tool. The reference sheets, structure, and my guidance help students focus on understanding instead of panic. Use all the tools you can to help calm the panic when you embark on your mathematical journey.

As an experienced certified secondary math teacher, I didn't always like math. As a teenager, math was frustrating and caused more than one argument with my parents that taught me. But my parents didn't let me give up and quit just because it was difficult. Besides the fact that I learned the math, more importantly, I was no longer afraid of it. I gained confidence and knowledge. I no longer made choices for my future based off of fear. THIS is what I desire to help teach your child.
